I’ll be on Holidays…

I will be going to the eastern states in late May (after the grading) and will not be back until late June, early July (4 – 6 weeks). In this time, the management of the dojo will be looked after by the senior black belts (Sensei Adam and Sempai’s Ann, Shay and Alden). I will be leaving lesson plans with the black belts to work to but giving each black belt an opportunity to put their “slant” on the delivery of the lessons.

Based on my holidays, the grading date has been brought forward to Saturday, May the 11th instead of a June/July grading.

You should feel confident in the coaching capabilities of all the black belts as they  have their National Coaching Accreditation – Bronze level and many years of experience to share.

Dojo Visits for the Seniors:

Students in the senior class are encouraged to attend these sessions and gain the experience of attending another dojo, meet new students, train under a different instructor and jump outside your comfort zone. Selected teenage students (Black and Brown belts) may also be invited.

As you have plenty of notice, please try and ensure you can attend these dates. There will be a requirement for a coach to stay at our dojo to manage the junior session and the senior’s session for those senior students who can’t be involved in the dojo visit to Bunbury. The other visit is on a Thursday. It is fine if you have to drop the Wednesday training at the dojo to allow you to go to visit Eaton, just let me know please.

  • Black/Brown Belt Grading: Sunday, 16th June. PCYC Hay Park Bunbury. 9:00 – 12:00pm
  • Presentation and Friends night:  Monday, 13th May. Juniors and Teenagers will train from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. Teenagers and Seniors – 6:30pm to 8:30pm
